It All Started With a Teething Baby

Drooling. Gnawing. Fussiness. That became our life when our 7-month-old daughter, Poppy, grew into a tiny teether. We tried every chew toy; nothing seemed to work until we came across a soap saver in Grammy's house...

We knew that there was a better teether to be designed and manufactured than the current market was offering. After many rounds of revisions to the design, and some field testing from our own children, it was time to try and bring a better teether to the masses. 

Kickstarting the Business.

With the desire to run all production through a U.S. based manufacturer, we were aware that POPPIES Toys would need some initial external funding to make our dream a reality.

POPPIES was launched as a Kickstarter campaign and quickly became the most funded teether toy to date.

Our mission is to design and build safe, fun, sensory toys. POPPIES Toys are produced exclusively in a U.S. based manufacturer, using only medical-grade BPA FREE, PVC FREE silicone - because we will never use a material that we do not feel safe giving to our own children. In addition, POPPIES has undergone rigorous safety testing, to ensure it holds up in the dishwasher, to boiling, and to freezing.
