We received a rocket poppie as a gift and at first I thought it would be just like so many other soft teething toys. But something about the shape or texture (or both) made it irresistible to our 6 month old. He was able to hold it and put it in and out of his mouth by himself, and turned it over and put different sides in. He probably used it without dropping it for 15 minutes straight the first time we gave it to him. Definitely a different experience that he could not get enough of

Poppies Teethers are his absolute favorite for relieving teething discomfort and they are his favorite bath toy too! His older cousins are also big fans of Poppies Toys. We've went through so many different teethers, and POPPIES are by far our babies' favorite. I would give them 10+ stars if I could. You will not regret picking up a couple of these.

I think the varied textures are a huge reason they have such great returning play value to them. If our little one isn't into one of the textures on the sides, they can gnaw on another corner for something completely different.

However, I would be remiss in writing why these are really such a hit. It's those suction cups! They're so addicting, our 6 year old still plays with it, sticking toys to it, then sticking that creation to other toys. It's pretty amazing and you have to experience it to understand just how sticky they are.

A huge concern of mine before handling these is that they would be a gold mine for bacteria and hard to clean. I'm happy to say that couldn't be further from the truth. They're solid for one, so nothing can get inside an air valve where mold grows...but also, they really do just clean right up under water, way easier than any other teether. Which is a huge plus when the kids want to play with these all over the house.

It's also my understanding that this was created by an engineer out of his house, and his family helps test, ship, and support customers and the products. Great reasons to buy all around.

I was impressed with the service received from my purchase. This looks like a great product and I like how it is made in the USA with safe materials. I bought this as a baby gift for a friend so I can't provide a baby's review :) but I think the red color is catchy and my space-loving 3-year-old loved the rocket shape.
